I've been on this site for while. My search is serious. I was in the Ukraine before and have been to Russia in my past. I'm still looking.
My general thought is that 95 percent of the first letters I have received lack the right substance.
We men do first look at pictures for attraction. Thank GOD that we were created with different attractions goals. Each has a different attraction goal.
If you choose to write first, your first letter should be all about the man. You don't attract a man sending a letter that is easily identified as a letter sent to many or using common words about who you are; loving, sensitive, etc. This is important for both, not the first letter. Doing this does not set you apart from every other writing letters.
If you want to set yourself apart and not be juded by your outside beauty, write all about the man and why you see his life as interesting.
If there is not enough in the profile to connect with and you are interested ask question and get the man talking. Don't waste the first letter on your own details. Set yourself apart.
Write and show in your first letter why you think you connect with the person you write. For me i need to know 1) you read my profile. Take time to do this. When i get a letter that says you interest me. My first thought is why. Below i do share about myself.. 90 percent of the letters I receive don't even acknowledge this.
As for pictures, I'm sure it is a fun event to have fancy pictures made for your profile. My recommendation is to mix them up. Add pictures, with natural setting, no paint on face and show head to foot.
On this site after about ten letters, pictures can be shared. It only then that you start to understand the person real look. Only then you understand attraction. So why not mix pictures and not have to wait.
The first letter is not about you. It's you showing the other why you fit into the others life.
The receiver of the letter will then understand and if interested open the space for you to share about yourself.
There must be commonality, intrige, and the opportunty to image the other in my life.
Personally, when i sit on a beach i think about being on the sea. When i bike i think about my lady with me.
My decision one day will be made on if we enjoy spending the hours of our days the same.
The other person will also bring postive energy to our union and it is a we relationship, not an I relationship.
I will delete letters that don't start this way. I'm looking for a lady to fit into my life. We will later understand what wonderful things you would add.
I have now been off the Sailboat in my pictures for two years. I lived there for 5 years. I now live in an apartment until I decide where my life is now going next.
About me.
I've brought up my family and now on my own. I enjoy the mountains and the sea. I have enjoyed skiing, Sailing, boating, hiking, and biking over the years. I enjoy cultural activities and would enjoy having someone help me to grow in this area. I enjoy my personal time and can be found reading, watching TV, and even looking after my living space. I keep care of what i own and do not live in clutter, although i could use some help here. I'm looking for a romantic classy lady, that enjoys life and looking good for herself and husband.
