PhD in climatology, run an internet and website development company in India, spent 8 years fighting wildfires in Utah, authored a hiking guide book on The Grand Staircase.

What I like: enjoy hiking and backpacking in the Wind Rivers, Yellowstone, Capitol Reef, 4-wheeling in the West Desert and Southern Utah, Scuba Diving somewhere warm, Country Music and Classic Rock, Traveling – the Andes and the Himalayas, canoeing and boating. Scouting out glacier and glacial lakes.

Interesting to me - Museums, history, art, plays and archaeology, current events, NPR fan, motivational books, fictional history, classic writers. I read a lot and have been a great thinker’s thing lately – reading books on philosophers and economists.

I am passionate and curious about life and want to meet someone who feels the same way. I believe in living life to its fullest, but this does not mean that I don't know how to relax put things aside and focus on the moment.

I am proud not only that we have a black president, but that he will do a better job than Bush. I am democrat, but believe that we should keep government regulation to a minimum – and out of our lives – so my viewpoint is a little more complex than traditional democratic.

I want to settle down with the right person when the time is right (I will know). I am generally a happy person who tries to see the best in a situation and I want to meet someone who is on the same level and is motivated in life and work. I enjoy working out and taking care of myself and would hope to find somebody who feels the same way.
