I have not replied to any letters recently.....as in the last 3 year's as I have had major surgeries, serious health issues arising out of a bad accident, 50 year old men shouldn't ride mountain bikes down trails and if they do well then they shouldn't crash. I had serious chest injuries that led to a heart Infection, that led to MCI'S, stents, and a triple bypass. 5 year's later and I'm walking again, the young cardiologists think I'm a bit of a miracle, I go to the outpatients and they ALL know me by my first name, even those that I've NEVER met....it could be my strong Irish accent, I've been told that I speak low, slow and deep....like a river!, Lol. .So it's now December 2021!....how the world turns, Covid, no chance to travel, the loss of many people close to me, my 28year old son, my parents and other's. My day to day is just me and my dog, Molly, an Irish Terrier, my garden, my Chilli bushes, my zucchinis, my Kalamata, Lime and Avocado seedlings. It's a small side business that I have decided to start. Through everything these past 5 year's I feel and think the same.... everybody's beautiful with the lights off, we are all as tall lying down and more than a handful is a waste. (that's a saying from my maternal grandmother, probably the person that I most loved....She was not Irish but Welsh, and posessed the brightest and most upbeat personality and would often say the most HILARIOUS things....like my eldest brother and his wife were home to Ireland from New Zealand, 4 year's married and no great grandchildren yet....at the dinner table grandmother suggested that they both should "practice more, because practice makes perfect". My sister in law was beetroot red....a difficult thing for a Maori/Scots gal. yeah I'm cheeky✌️....And so it's now August 24, 2022. This Terrible War still rages in Ukraine, I personally believe that Ukrainian victory is not IF but WHEN. I do what little I can to support Ukraine, I make regular small donations, I attend rallies, I with many others push our government to provide extra military aid to those defending Ukraine, and not only Ukraine but the whole of Europe, the whole free world. My daughter (I never married her mother but she is my daughter, I only needed to see her once to know that..... Auburn hair, the widest face, hey cheekbones?....the Russians got NOTHING on this Gal....and with a Mother of 5'1"....she's 6'1"....and now at 24 a 4th year Medical Student, an "advanced diploma" of medicine, neuroscience. Wow, to have a child smart enough to become a brain physician. I never knew that she existed, and now I cannot imagine a life without her in it, here I say that I have 1 child....I had 2 son's from my marriage, my eldest son passed away Christmas 2018 of "hypernatremia"....water intoxication, a hot day in Australia, he was walking distance and then exercising, walked the 3 kilometres home, drank lots of water....it was 14 months later when I sat with the Coroner and he explained my son's cause of death. Very low sodium and potassium levels, his kidneys stopped working, I surmise that Liam kept drinking more water because he believed that he was dehydrated, it was 36c that day. Only 28 year's of age. I will NEVER forget the day he was born, the first time ever I saw him, the smile he had that very first day of life. yeah, many tall people in my family....I'm one of 8 children and at 5'11" I'm the shortest.... Mother, Sister, Father and my 6 Brothers all above 6 foot, some closer to 7.
