Charming and often humorous, with blue-blue eyes and a big heart, very intelligent despite PhD, originally from Berlin but now living near Chicago, hard working but still playful, with a love for art, dance, literature, theater, people..

I am reasonably athletic (sailing, winsurfing, running, and lion taming) but lazy about sports. I prefer going out with friends or going dancing (lately more Salsa, Neotango, Merengue, Bachata) than watching tv, but I also like to have quiet times with my loved ones. I have a very ecletic taste in music ranging from opera to latin to R&B to TripHop, Lounge/Downtempo, Jazz, Russian/Ukrainian pop etc etc... I admit I have a hidden weakness for silly love songs and romantic movies 😃


I like to travel. I have been to many places but there still is a whole world to discover. I go to Europe regularly (Berlin is my hometown), and because my work is fairly flexible I am able to spend a few months there every year. Maybe we can meet and get know each other?... I have been to the Ukraine two times to visit old students and I enjoyed my visits. I am planning to be there again this summer and later too 😃 Hopefully my Russian will improve this year.. . and Hopefully I will find you!
