Behind my “Barbie” look there is a real “me” — the one I rarely show to anyone. I landed here by accident… Although maybe life brings us exactly where we’re meant to meet the right person.

Yes, women like me can be lonely too. Don’t believe the fairy tales that beauty saves the world — it only makes it a little nicer to look at. People save each other. Those who know how to love, understand, and hold your hand so strongly that the ground slips from under your feet. I work around beauty all day, and I’ve learned one thing: scalpels don’t make people beautiful — the person by your side does. The one who won’t get scared if suddenly something goes wrong.

…And yes, I am that mysterious foreign girl. The one with a soft accent, a quiet laugh, who plays tennis, loves animals, works during the day and plays computer games at night, drinks hot mulled wine and sometimes reads a book to fall asleep. I love art — the kind that makes you feel something just by looking at it, and horses — because they are honest, powerful and calm in a way most people aren’t.
