My name is Jon, and I live in New Jersey, near Philadelphia. I graduated college in 1969, with both a B.S. in chemical engineering, and a B.A. I recently retired from my career as an engineer for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), enforcing our laws that protect against water pollution.

I own a home here in NJ. I enjoy reading and cinema, and love to play bridge and backgammon, as well as doing crossword puzzles. For recreation and exercise, I play tennis. I work out at a fitness spa enough to ensure that I stay slim!

Over the past few years, I have become active in my (Lutheran) church; I was President of the congregation. I sing in our choir. I also work at a food pantry set up by four churches in our town, distributing groceries to needy families.

My goal on this web-site is to meet an attractive woman, ~ 22-32 years old, who is interested in coming in the U.S. to live as my wife. I will treat her with the utmost love and respect!
