I am confident, funny and romantic, but I can be shy at times until I gage a person or situation. I don't always give my opinions but I communicate well and in my heart lies the most touching poetry. Poetry which resides in the soul.
My empathy for others is a result of past personal losses. I know there are more to come so I don't delude myself into thinking there are perfect Hollywood endings. Nevertheless, I try to retain the child-heart I was born with.
It hasn't been distorted by the world and I always return to that deepest part of it. Maybe I am the fool, but I believe in love eternal beyond death. I don't know why I have been blessed, but I swear that there have been guardian angels looking after me sometimes.
I'll never know exactly why I deserved it. I am still learning to accept the Great Mystery even though I feel like I'm on trial for something I didn't do. I can't explain it. It just makes me more human.
I like bookstores, coffee shops, films and educational television, music, theater, museums and all ethnic and gourmet cooking. I motorcycle and backpack in the good weather. My hobbies are electronics, carpentry, crafts,and poetry. My mother taught me the arts and my father taught me my skills and humor. I can and will talk about anything. I would like to share my life with someone who can speak easily from the heart. My children are grown and gone and now I have time to reflect and give. What is in our hearts only lives when we give it away.
Sometimes the faces of the stars are in my dreams. They do not speak, but they illuminate everything that is noble and holy.
