I believe in FREEDOM! People MUST be free to achieve their true destiny and greatness! Freedom is never totally won; it must be fought for everyday! The cost of freedom is high! The people of my native land (Ireland) have been fighting for it for 800 years and still it is not totally won!

My interests are varied. My hobbies are painting, drawing and writing, although writing is more of a passion. I have a great novel inside of me and one day it will come out. I also write humourous stories. I used to write poetry, but no longer, perhaps for the right woman I will again. I paint seascapes, landscapes and city scenes in perspective. I like to paint the female form (but on canvas of course)! I draw in ink, pointillism technique mostly. I dabble in photography. I am a good dancer, but not Cossack style! I like sports and keeping fit and enjoy my workouts. I golf sometimes, but not very well. I like to read and enjoy the challenge of a good Sudoku puzzle (the harder the better). I love music, classic rock mostly (but not heavy metal) R & B, bluegrass, old blues and all Celtic music. It's in my blood! I was persuaded to join Facebook by my nieces, just to keep up on my family, but I must admit that I now play blackjack on there, but it’s free! I am also on Skype. Also reading all of the letters (in the hundreds of thousands now) I have received on various websites I think I have a much better understanding of what you ladies are up against! Thank you lovely ladies of the Ukraine, the sexiest and most genuine women in the world! You have pleased my eyes and gladdened my heart. If you don't hear from me just, keep trying! I get a lot of letters!
I am a sailor and usually I sail on the Great Lakes, but shipping has been slow until lately and I will sail again in March! I live in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, which is about 12 miles (20 kilometers) from Niagara Falls. The Welland ship canal runs through it. I was born in Northern Ireland but came to Canada at a very young age. I have never been married but I was in a common-law relationship for 12 years. I have no children. I take pride in my appearance and try to workout at least three times a week, when possible. I like sports, hockey, Canadian and American football (NFL) College football, lacrosse, baseball and soccer (I am a Glasgow Celtic fan) although I don't follow soccer very closely. I love beautiful women, I like to watch them strut their stuff and appreciate women who look after their appearance. However looks aren't everything and by beautiful I also mean women who are also beautiful on the inside. I say what is on my mind, but I never hold a grudge and when I say what I think it is then forgotten. I have a forgiving soul. I am a passionate man and an intense individual. When I love, I love deeply and love is a word I do not use lightly. If you tell someone you love them, mean it! I am kind and giving with what I have been told is a great sense of humour. When I love it is with passion and will please my woman in every way. I work hard, I play hard and I love with intensity. My motto is work hard, love Jesus and have fun! I am loyal and faithful and expect the same. I ask only three things of a woman in a relationship, don't lie to me, don't cheat on me and don't get fat! I am interested in hearing from you ladies. I promise there is never a dull moment!

I am not looking for a woman who seeks perfection, expecting all the gifts that wise men bring. I am not looking for one that I can parade like a prize or a sports trophy. My heart is not about that! I will support and encourage her to fulfill her dreams and find inner satisfaction in her soul. I will tell her jokes until her laughter fills the room like music. I will be her lover and light a fire of passion within her. I will rock her gypsy soul! She will be my equal, my friend, my lover and my soul mate. She will be the last woman I ever kiss! I will help her to understand that the most beautiful music of all is the music of what happens. I will teach her what I know about life, because life is not about waiting for the storm to pass…it is about learning to dance in the rain!
