Daylight savings time is great, isn’t it? I feel like I should be writing “Attention K-Mart Shoppers” and then list of all my attributes, accomplishments, demographics and a flashing blue light. I am an Aero Engineer, X-Army Air Cavalry helicopter pilot. I’ve been working on site at JSC for some time. Born in Maryland, I was, around Baltimore and Annapolis. The seafaring nature is just under my skin - as I used to be a fleet sheet Hobie catter and can shuck and eat a bushel of live clams at one sitting. Coming to the Texas Coast wasn’t that much of a change, except there are no clams, fireflies or blizzards. I am a semipro musician and earn just enough money to keep instruments repaired and music on hand. Sometimes I get to thinking of too many things at once, making me look like the absent minded (fill in the blank). I love the outdoors, animals, and if it were not for horses, I would be a gym freak. You name the adventure and I will do it. I've been on top of Mount Baker and Devils Tower, crewed on the Elissa - my most recent vacations have all been horse intensive. So, how am I different? I’m not. I’ve been the same for quite awhile now.

Who am I looking for? No one special but especially someone. I prize honesty and communication, but chemistry (or alchemy) has a lot to do with it. People need to find common ground and a base of communication on which to build trust and constancy. It’s in our nature. Well, maybe not in the case of the uni-bomber. We should look at each other and feel elated that we can bare our souls and express our deepest feelings without fear or criticism, but with understanding and comfort. These words take on a whole new meaning when with someone you love. It is time well spent, developing such a relationship. In the meantime, patience, acceptance and partnership are key words. “But what do I know!” the divorcee said dejectedly. Well, my humble thanks for listening.
