I am strong...street tough...at the age of 13 I had to decide to become a ward of the Children's Aid or hide out from them and make it on the street...I survived on the street.
I am sensitive...after nearly 10 years working for EMS the emotions of holding a lifeless child in my arms brought me to tears and the realization it was time to get out.

I am outspoken...intolerant of intolerance...does that mean I cancel myself out??:LOL We must teach tolerance and understanding. There is no defence for the deplorable actions of an extremist such as al-Zarqawi, but when I was watching Bush talking about the killing of Zarqawi all I could think of was the movie "The Wizard of Oz"...with the munchkins all singing "ding dong the witch is dead". The Movie...er ah...supposed "war against terror" will not be "won" by killing all the Zarqawi's out there. These terrorists are following an ideology...not a specific leader...and no I don't know what the answer is...but I do know that if we don't practice communication, understanding, and compromise we all lose.
