I was born in Indianapolis, IN., but now I live closer to Chicago. And I am of European ethnicity with an Irish/German ancestry. I love going out to dinner and a movie, or go hiking and camping. I treat women with respect, and would treat any child like my own (although I do not have any). I stay in good physical shape and would like that to be important to my second half also. In general I avoid alcohol (in fact I almost never drink), and of course I never do drugs. I think I have a good sense of humor, and it is easy for me to make people laugh. I like traveling and have done so very much. I have a very good career in a specialty science which is in much demand. This makes my life stable. I may never be a millionaire (but then again I might also), but I will always have a well paying job. It is a little bit rediculous to try to say these things about myself. It is for others to decide...0n the other hand, of course I am all of them (Just kidding). I also read newspapers and magazines.; Cuisine: No preferences, I think all different cultural cuisines have some very tasty dishes..Hobbies: meeting with friends, museums, cinema, exhibitions, discos, parks, theater, concerts, night clubs, The company you keep on an outing is more important than the outing itself. I would rather be in a poor park with a laughing, fun girl than a beautiful opera with a listless bore., traveling, fitness, figure-skating, hiking, skiing, volleyball, horse-riding, biking, gym, bowling, tennis, billiard, shaping, swimming, I belong to two different Gymnasiums and a swim club. I swim on a national swim team that competes in many cities and I have won many awards. I stay in very athletic form and I will always go in for fitness..

The main characteristic I am looking for, of course, is honesty. I would also like someone who is very serious about finding a permanent relationship. It takes work and compromise to make a relationship work, and I would like someone who is serious about making a successful, life-long commitment. I, of course, am also willing to do whatever takes to stay together. Physical fitness is important to me and I would like to find someone who also finds it important.
