I have always travelled a lot and have spent five years in Vienna (where I am now), six months in China and visit a number of countries very regularly - both for work and for pleasure. I have found there is not very much difference between people when you take away the things that money can buy. I speak, English, German and French. I love to make holidays interesting. I like the mountains, Venice or Paris and the Seychelles.
I doubt that I can name a pop/rock record that has been issued in the last ten years. I very rarely go to the cinema. I do not have a television. I am not interested in celebrities. My interests are mountain walking, snorkelling/scuba diving at tropical islands, art (not modern art), music (classical music/opera – no pop/rock music), museums, reading and travel.
I have a comfortable standard of living. It is not however very important to me. In particular I want to say that I am not materialistic. Having the latest cell-phone or what make of car I drive is irrelevant to me. I am interested in ideas and in developing them and in principles.
