I live in the mountains near Los Angeles, California. I have both a city and country lifestyle. I love going to shows and concerts, but also, taking walks in the forest outside my house. I work in a hospital taking care of babies born with lung disease. I am 44 years old. I am a musician. I sing and play guitar every weekend, and raise money for an organization called OXFAM. They help underdeveloped nations. You can look them up at www.oxfam.org.
I am looking for a companion, a life partner. I want to spend lots of time taking walks and talking. I want to learn all about you. If we spend time together, I want to learn your opinion about things, and will try to learn a bit of your language, as you learn mine. I will very much value our partnership. I will always be very curious about you, and want to learn your favorite books, music and movies and plays. I will want to be your friend, as well as anything else that we become. As your partner, I would like to help you reach your goals, such as educational and professional. I do not expect a partner stay at home if you do not want, but I do make enough money so that you will not have to work if you do not want to.
I make very good money working in the hospital, and have very few overhead expenses, but I do not have a materialistic lifestyle. I think people matter more than things. I have not had success with relationships here in America because I am short in stature: 165 cm. I am physically fit, and not overweight.
I have many friends, and people enjoy my company. I am considered by many to be a good friend. I would like to have a partner from another part of the world because I myself have never traveled. I want to learn more about other places and other people. I do not believe you should marry someone who is just like you. I believe very much in the power of love, in the power of two people sharing their lives together and putting their hearts together.
I hope to hear from you soon. If you like, we can share pictures and videos and so forth.
Joey
