My world is a place where honesty is
mandatory, where a smile is the order of the
day and all wins are celebrated. It’s a
place where magic doesn’t have to
happen – but it might. It believes that
love is like a butterfly, it goes where it
pleases and it pleases where it goes.
It’s where encouragement abounds,
compromise works, where that feeling of
“being there” could be a glancing
smile, a touch on the shoulder or a pat on
the butt. My world discounts the past and
creates tomorrows experiences.
My world offers the opportunity to be held
in strong assuring arms, to share sorrows, to
heal wounds but to marvel in the joys of
success. It’s to share a meal or swap
stories over a wine or just enjoy watching
the world pass by. My world appreciates
beauty, both externally and within and yes,
it’s OK to sing out of tune.
